So if you haven't heard, video game developer ActiVision is coming out with DJ Hero, the next installment of the $2 billion Guitar Hero franchise. A turntable-shaped controller will be included in the game's standard version. Given that DJing is a fundamental element of hip-hop, it seems that ActiVision is trying to target the hip-hop listener/enthusiast with DJ Hero. When looking for counsel, the gaming company went to Jay-Z and Eminem. Good advisors to say the least. Both hip-hop giants licensed their music to the game. Here they are performing their classic collaboration, Renegade, at the DJ Hero party.
